Anybody seen transcripts of the episodes on the web? I mean it's not like the WB even thinks about reshowing any of them (or produce a DVD).

As far as I know they don't. I do have a script from the episode "The Unnatural." That's all I have to offer.

I have noticed something interesting, though. ABC/Disney don't like putting many series on DVD, but FOX tends to put out most every series whether it cans or not. Of course because this is a WB production, they have a viable excuse for not creating a DVD.

I don't see that it is very likely that the series will ever be officially released since it was in fact cancelled before the first season finished. Very sad, but the series will live on in my vcr/dvd player...

Hmmm....those screencaps at TAoD are like one every 2 seconds. With a transcript it would almost be like watching the real thing.
Say, what do you estimate were the number of viewers watching the show on average?

Hmmmm....Don't know if this could work, but an e-mail/snail-mail campiagn might work to get the show on DVD. What do you think?

Those never work. I don't see how anybody thinks signing that would work as I don't see where the WB ever sees it. The way to do it is to barrage the WB with emails and letters advocating a DVD of the show be produced. If they get enough, they might actually consider making one. Are there a lot of Joesph Lawerence fans still around?

We also tried doing that around the time the last episodes aired. We snail mailed the WB with letters, but obviously to no avail. If you're interested in writing:
The WB Network 4000 Warner Blvd Burbank, CA 91522
Email: faces@thewb.com Telephone: (818) 977-6878
I will post this information when I update my site so maybe we can try to get something organized.

How many do you suppose tried it? Was it a lot at once or scattered?
Tentative plans as I see it: -prepare a template letter and e-mail for those who don't want to write their own and compile data -Then get the support of this and other major run of the house sites (including forum members) -Spread the word to other forums and sites for run of the house as well as for Margo Harshman, Joesph Lawerance, and the other cast members
Hopefully, an organized effort along with the fact that we are asking for the DVD and not a return of the show (which I see as no longer fisable--be very difficult for WB to reconsider even back then anyway as they look at ratings only).
Also, there is the fact that other networks put out tones of DVDs for series even those that last less than a season.

I honestly don't remember how many did it, but it was posted around and I suppose it was most likely a scattered effort.
We could definitely try organizing that. If you would like to prepare a template letter and then we can try to get the word out. Sadly there are no other "Run of The House" sites. Mine is the only one. I can spread the word to other forums set up for the stars, Yahoo! groups, and other fan sites.

Good! Definitely need to hit the Joey boards, though as he still seems to have a huge career just looking at the board in this forum. Margo Harshman websites don't seem to be too active at the moment, but when some of her recent movies start making rounds, that is sure to change.
I'll see about the letter and e-mail template tomorrow and Monday during my spare time.
What do you know about Kyle Howard, though?

Yes, Joe has still been doing several projects. He has the largest fanbase out of all the stars. I am a member of another forum and some Yahoo! groups for him so that would be easy.
Unfortunately, all the Margo sites haven't been active at all. Not even her official site has been updated in a while. Hopefully, this is because she is busy with promoting all her new works.
That would be great if you could set up the template. Take your time and get it set up whenever you can. I would start one, but it would take me a while. I'm still working on the website.
Kyle Howard has been doing mostly just guest appearences lately. There are some fanlistings for him, an LJ community, and a few websites out there for him.
Just let me know if there's anything that I can do to help you. I will do my best. ;D

Try helping me write it. I've never done one of these before and could definitely use help. Here's what I have so far:
My name is <insert your name here>, and I am a fan of the TV series known as Run of the House that aired back in the 2003-2004 season. I formally request that the network release the full series (all 19 episodes) on VHS and DVD. I am one of many fans of the show that would buy this series if released.
Please note that this show averaged 2.2 million viewers per airing, many of which would likely buy the series if they saw it in the store or online. Also note that Joseph Lawerance (one of the main actors) has a significant fanbase that would likely buy this series.
